- What is Nostalgia? Nostalgic= n.1. " A bittersweet longing for things, persons, or situations of the past." What started out 9 years ago as a weekend hobby; quickly turned into full time addiction. We now routinely hit 50-200 estate sales, auction houses, private sales, antique fairs, collectible boutiques and more per week all through Northern California. Searching, finding, and collecting old cool stuff is truly what we adore doing. If it is cool to us, or brings on a sense of nostalgia, we have a need to find it the perfect home. Passing on vintage collectibles, antiques, kitschy housewares, rare books, modern - mid century Eames era decor, ephemera, vintage advertising, retro furnishings, historic memorabilia, Atomic trinkets and forgotten fun stuff to tinkers, collectors, builders and widget lovers is truly our passion. We work very hard to provide an easy to use, fair priced venue for people who cannot find these unique and fun items locally. Our goal is to pass on every "ah" item we find to a wonderful home.

About The Yacker
Born and raised in Northern California. Talks way too much and can type really fast. Loves things from the past....and cats....and chickens....and coffee. Way. Too. Much. Coffee.Especially loves things from the 1930's to 1979. Has a severe fondness for old ranch homes...with an atomic touch...not too much of a touch..just a tad touch..you know, not obvious atomic..a tad...atomic...hates track housing, "upgrades of marble countertops" and new subdivisions with a passion.
Started on eBay in 1999 on a daily basis. Met better half/soulmate/cutest wittle guy in the world on eBay in 2000. Better half quickly made PS in the vintage collectible market and has been a Silver Level PS for over the last few years. We sincerely believe eBay is no longer the best option for most people, for many reasons. Our goal here is to help others see that for themselves, pulling people away from that toxic environment, while having a little old fashioned fun.
